PFA Series | Elevator Pit Flood Alarm System

The PFA Series is our premium line of 120VAC pit flood alarms designed for elevator pits up to 4 feet deep. Each unit features an industrial-grade 6” alarm bell, an 8’ grounded power cord, and one or two float switches mounted on 4’ galvanized rigid steel conduit (GRC). Mounting hardware and a unistrut bracket are included for fast installation on 8#, 12#, or 15# guide rails.

• 120VAC powered alarm system with 6” bell and 8’ power cord
• Factory-installed float switches trigger audio alarm and/or control circuit
• Universal mounting bracket included (1-5/8” x 13/16” x 14” unistrut)
• Alarm box mounts at least 12" above bottom landing floor
• CSA and UL listed components for safety and code compliance

In a standard 48” pit, the float switch is positioned 12” from the pit floor. Model PFA2 includes a second float switch wired to an auxiliary control circuit, preventing elevator descent if water reaches 13”.
