RETTG Series – Retractable Elevator Toe Guards
The RETTG Series retractable elevator toe guards are engineered to prevent passenger injury or entry into the hoistway when an elevator cab stops above the landing floor. Each unit features a two-part telescopic design: a fixed upper panel mounted to the cab door sill, and a sliding lower panel that extends up to 15" downward.
- Telescopic toe guard assembly meets elevator safety requirements
- Factory-connected sliding panel extends when cab is raised
- Activates integrated safety switch (1NO/1NC, 10A @ 600VAC) if not fully deployed
- Constructed from 16-gauge galvanized steel for durability
- Custom widths available on request
All RETTG Series models stand 48” tall when fully extended and retract to 33-1/2” for compact clearance. Designed for maximum passenger safety and operational reliability in elevator systems of varying widths.
