Custom Retractable Pit Ladders – Models PL8-RET through PL18-RET
Our Custom Retractable Pit Ladders are engineered for elevator shafts where space-saving design and code compliance are essential. These ladders retract upward and lock securely to allow the elevator to operate, and extend forward (down) to provide safe pit access for maintenance personnel. Each ladder features gas spring assist for smooth motion and includes a safety switch and pin lock (left or right side) for secure deployment. Ladders are built as one-piece or sectional assemblies, depending on the required length and job site conditions.
