The JANUS - SHW-MR is a master station phone designed for the machine room in elevator systems using the EMS5 platform. It provides two-way communication between the machine room and the elevator phones or lobby master station. When a call is placed from an elevator phone, the SHW-MR receives the call, and its digital display shows the elevator number calling. If the call is not answered within a preset time, the system can forward the call to preprogrammed off-site numbers.
The SHW-MR supports flexible installation options and can be mounted on a wall or placed on a desk. It connects to the EMS5 system using two 22 AWG twisted shielded pairs per lobby master station and supports distances up to 2000 feet from connected phones. Ideal for facilities requiring 24-hour on-site monitoring without a dedicated phone line.
